“Anniversary Festival” in Rise of Kingdoms is to celebrate the 2nd Anniversary. This event follows the same old alternating pattern between Special Events. This time we have much preferred event format, where we only need to spend 7,000 gems to get pretty much all the rewards if we put some effort into it.
This 7-days event consists of 5 stages, with a new stage being unlocked every day. These stages are further divided into three main categories and consist of tasks that you generally do on a regular basis.
At the end of the end (8th day), players can collect the Chest located at the top right corner. This Chest contains 1x Epic Universal Sculpture, 1x 5 Minutes Speedups and Level 3 Tomes of Knowledge (1000 XP). The number of Chests that you received equals to the number of tasks that you complete during this event.
This event is especially good, if you are in a new kingdom, as you can upgrade your Epic Commanders quite easily with it. For those in older kingdoms, this event doesn’t scale well. Yeah, the speedups are nice to have but that’s pretty much it.
I think we can all agree that this is the event that most players were waiting for. If you are new to Rise of Kingdoms and looking for the best ways to spend your gems, then look no further. There are two tiers of Rewards, one is the free tier and the other is the Premium tier. In order to unlock the premium tier, you need to spend 7,000 gems. The best part about the premium tier is that along with all the absurd amounts of rewards that you get from it, you get 5,500 gems back from it.
The way this event works is by adding Candy Commanders to the Celebration Cake, when you do so your Celebration Cake starts leveling up to Level 25 which gives you the most valuable rewards.
How to obtain Candy Commanders?
When you open a Celebration Box you have a chance to receive 1-5 Candy Commanders, which you can then use to add to the Celebration Cake. These Candy Commanders can crit and give you bonus XP up to 2x, 5x, or up to 8x.
Celebration Boxes can be obtained from the following:
Login for 8 days in a row to receive various rewards every day including the new gathering commander Matilda.
Race Against Time
In this event, you are required to kill as many Barbarians as you can before the timer runs out, hence the name. Initially every player starts with 5 min time limit, you can increase this time limit by killing barbarians. Killing higher level Barbarians adds more bonus time. Bonus time is awarded based on the number of your individual marches that you used to kill the barbarians. So, try to use 5 marches when you participate in this event and if possible team up with your allies. This will allow you to kill the barbarians faster. You have 3 chances to participate in this event everyday.
Players are rewarded after reaching certain milestones, which are relatively easy to get if you use 5 marches. You can also compete for a spot in the Leaderboard for more rewards.
You can obtain Card Packs by leveling up your Celebration Cake. During this event, players can exchange cards with one another via the Kingdom or Alliance Chat. These card packs can be opened by up to 5 Players, so first come first served!! Seriously though, you really need fast fingers for this one. These Card Packs contain random rewards that could be anywhere between 5 gems to 500 gems.
Zenith of Power
Zenith of Power is a Cross Kingdom event, where players compete by increasing their Building, Research, or Troop power. You can claim various rewards by reaching certain milestones up to 1M power which will reward you 5 Universal Sculptures. That’s not all, the highest-scoring players will receive Leaderboard rewards and the Top 10 players will receive the new Legendary City Skin “Road to The Crown”.
Note: I’ll update this section as the event becomes available.
